Mock cookbook cover

Concordia Church has a long history of good fellowship and a key component of that is food!  To that end, the 125th Anniversary Team is compiling recipes from across the generations to create a 125th Anniversary Cookbook (to be made available in digital and physical format). This project serves two purposes: (1) capturing and sharing the food traditions of previous generations that are still thriving in our own kitchens today and (2) providing a ‘snapshot in time’ of our faith community, through our current member’s treasured family recipes and the stories they share.

We invite you to submit one (or more!) recipes that your family treasures along with a quick sentence or two about how they connect family and faith.  Pictures of families or dishes are also welcomed.  Recipes can be submitted in a variety of ways:

  • via email (send to Jen – her email is below)
  • download and use this writable PDF form (you can print it off or fill it out and save it electronically)
  • or bringing a copy to church.

Connect with Jen Phillips if you have questions or would like to help with the project. (jphillips@concordiafaith.org)

More information will be made available as to how you can request your family’s copy of the 125th Anniversary Cookbook later in the summer.
