Starts August 9th & runs through September 6th (5 weeks)

Every Sunday, 10:30 – 11:00 am

There are two way to participate: 1) join our live class via Zoom or 2) choose to receive the lessons and activities via email and complete them at a time that works for your family.

Compassion Camp Curriculum:  (from the makers of Compassion Camp, Illustrated Ministry)  In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we created our At-Home/Virtual [family-faith] program where kids and families explore what it means to have compassion for others, ourselves, and the world. [This curriculum] is geared toward both preschool-aged children and K-5th graders, it is extremely flexible, adaptable, and fun for the entire family, older siblings included.

Taught by Betsy Ries, Dana Salazar and Leanne Morris (all Chicagoland elementary educators & Sunday School teachers at Concordia Church)

General Class outline will include a lesson, discussion and age-appropriate activity; additional activities will be emailed following class.

Register here to receive the Zoom link and camp materialsZoom spots are limited.  If the live class reaches capacity, families will still have the option of receiving lessons and activities to complete at home.

Cost: Pay-what-you-can  To ensure all families are able to participate, we simply ask for families to pay what they can afford. Even if you are not able to contribute, you are still welcome to join the class.  Contributions off-set the cost of curriculum and teaching resources.   (The typical rate would be $15 per child)

After registering, text ’Concordia’ to 73256 and choose the option ’Compassion Camp’ to contribute.  Thanks in advance!
