How about forming a Fellowship Team for Concordia?
One of the values people share about being a member of Concordia is the sense of belonging and community spirit they enjoy not only in worship but also in the fellowship with other members. We want to promote our unity and build on our relationships of our shared faith, and we want to create more opportunities for connecting and growing in our life together. Some of the suggestions for increased connectivity and community are:
  • meet and greet activities after church
  • communication about new members when people join
  • directory-ish bulletin board
  • once-a-month nametag Sundays
  • spaghetti suppers
  • coordinating fellowship hosts for Sunday coffee after worship
  • Sunday BBQ (once a month for fellowship)
What about forming a Fellowship Team to develop these suggestions (and others) and then implement them for our faith community? If you’re interested in participating in a new Fellowship Team, let Pastor Zook know by E-Mailing him atΒ nzook@concordiafaith.org. We would hope to launch a new Fellowship Team this summer and test out some of these suggestions soon.
