Our Christian Sunday School Lessons blend worship and Christian education in a warm and welcoming environment. We offer Sunday School for kids at Concordia Church on Seeley. Faith education opportunities are available throughout the year at Whipple. Connect with our Director of Ministry Jen Phillips to learn more at jphillips@concordiafaith.org.

At the start of worship, children are invited to the altar to participate in a children’s sermon. They are then accompanied by Sunday School teachers to their classes. Classes are divided into age appropriate groups and are offered to children ages 3-12. During class, children will sing songs, participate in lessons, and join in on fun activities centered on the love and goodness of God. On alternate Sundays, there will be craft or lesson activities available in the back of the sanctuary based on the Children’s sermon for that week that will be supervised by youth or a teacher.

Whenever possible, Sunday School activities are designed to connect closely to the day’s worship readings and sermon message to create opportunities for students and parents to discuss lessons together later at home. We also offer Concordia Church bulletins geared for children so that the Gospel is presented in a way that children can relate their faith to God’s Word.

Taught by teachers and parents of other Concordia children, Sunday School classes help children learn valuable life lessons while developing their own thoughts about faith.

Please note parents are always welcomed to attend classes with their little ones. We hope to see you there!
